It is European Society of Hypertension validated. It has a 90-Day-reading memory bank and averages the last 3 readings. There is a body movement indicator, as well as, an irregular heartbeat detection and automatic shut-off. The latex-free cuffs have fully automatic inflation and deflation. The adult cuff fits arm sizes: 8 3/4" - 12 1/2" and the Large adult cuff fits arm sizes: 12 1/2" - 16 1/2".
